As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer is delighted from the moment they walk in, until the time they leave. SNAP Custom Pizza is seeking an experienced prep cook to join our team in delivering excellent customer experiences in our restaurant. As a prep cook, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality pizza dough, cheese, sauces, and toppings according to our preparation guidelines and portioning tools.
• Maintaining strict standards of food safety and sanitation by ensuring that all food and supplies are stored and dated properly.
• Monitoring and maintaining the quality of each pizza product to ensure that every customer receives an exceptional dining experience.
• Regularly monitoring inventory levels and placing food orders as necessary to ensure that we have all necessary supplies to meet demand.

Compensation:

• $14-$17/hour plus tips
• Tips may fluctuate based on business, hours, and store

Qualifications:

• Previous experience: At least one year of experience in a similar food service role, such as a prep cook or line cook.
• Attention to detail: Ability to follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and food safety standards with precision and care.
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Time management: Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple orders at once.
