As a member of the Platform Integrity Engineering team within the Information Security Group, you will lead the development of key Trust and Safety programs that protect the user safety of Snapchat worldwide. You’ll collaborate with key partners in Engineering, Product, Legal, Security, and Policy to build confidence in Platform Integrity. You’ll become a subject matter authority in multiple domains by owning projects from beginning to finish and facilitating cross-team communication. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in program development and management, process improvement, basic data analytics, and the software development life cycle. What you’ll do: Collaborate with Trust & Safety, product, engineering, and other internal teams to define and own trust and safety requirements Responsible for all aspects of project planning, management, and delivery Devise technical solutions and architecture design to satisfy complex business requirements Consistently deliver a realistic picture of project scope, timing, and progress to stakeholders Manage project development costs while prioritizing project tasks and risks Develop metrics to measure program success and operational effectiveness Anticipate project risks, conduct escalation management, negotiate with decision makers, and balance business needs versus technical constraints Serve as a technical consultant to the organization and business partners Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: A subject matter expert on governance, operations, and risk management Demonstrated success building programs and processes that scale with an organization Ability to lead cross-functional teams with a proven track record of delivery and high-impact solutions Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with an ability to motivate teams and foster an environment of continuous improvement Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, especially when tailoring information to non-technical audiences Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent experience 3 years of experience in technical program management Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience in technical program management Experience with agile software development processes and project management tools such as Jira Experience with Trust & Safety and Customer support organizations at scale. Experience designing and implementing programs from start to maturity Experience working with business stakeholders such as Product, Legal, and Policy. Compensation In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $145,000 - 210,000 annually Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $138,000 - 200,000 annually Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $123,000 - 179,000 annually This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs "Default Together" Policy at Snap At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration. To reflect this, we practice a “default together” approach and expect our team members to work in an office at least 80% of the time (an average of 4 days per week).
