Reporting to the Sr Purchasing Manager the MRO Buyer position duties will involve the placing of service and indirect material purchase orders, following up with suppliers on delivery dates. Requesting product and service information, pricing, availability, lead time. This position must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented and highly organized with proven ability to manage priorities, exercise good judgement and flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed service purchase orders and amendments for MRO products
- Manage all purchase requisitions for warehouse supplies, corporate requirements, and services
- Produce reports and data to improve req system process accuracy and drive accountability
- Process MRO packages, send to inventory for receiving and validate receipt of offsite MRO orders
- Run regular & ad hoc reports to assist the Buying Team
- Work closely with the Finance Team to ensure process accuracy & compliance
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 2 years purchasing experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or relatable degree
- Strong communication, organization and detailed management of self-directed activities are required
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in consumer electronics
- Experience with SAP Business 1
- Developed aptitude on computer programs relating to supply chain, software, and knowledge of purchasing/accounting processes
