The Senior Manager of Finance will join a dynamic Finance team that is responsible for driving core FP&A functions, managing investor relations, and evaluating and executing corporate development opportunities that reflect the company’s strategic growth priorities. This highly visible role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance and will have frequent exposure to the Executive Team, large investors, and the Board of Directors.
The scope of the role includes ownership and accountability for coordination of financial deliverables, annual planning, monthly forecasting, reporting, analytics, executive presentations, and supporting investor relations activities. A successful individual in this role will demonstrate an ability to influence/partner with leaders across the company to drive business value.
The Senior Manager of Finance should have strong and intuitive financial acumen with superb attention to detail and the ability to manage effectively in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude are key attributes to be successful in this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-performing team and ensure connectivity between FP&A and investor relations activities
- Own the design and execution of financial deliverables (e.g., monthly / quarterly / annual reporting and variance analyses, budgeting, forecasting, etc.) to meet the needs of key constituencies, including senior management, large investors, and the Board of Directors
- Liaise with the accounting team, legal team, and third-party service providers to support investor relations activities, including interaction with current and prospective investors and equity research analysts
- Contribute to and ultimately own the company’s long-term operating model, which drives strategic decision-making and investment priorities
- Partner with teams across the company to provide financial analyses in support of complex business decisions and strategic initiatives, resulting in thorough presentations to senior management on a frequent basis
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations
- Hire, develop, and coach key employees on the Finance team
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative discipline
- 5 years of relevant experience within FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Consulting, or Accounting
- 2 years of people leadership experience
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Experience in data analysis and financial modeling in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced business degree
- Experience working at a public company
- Experience working at a company that has undergone transformational M&A
- Experience and/or personal interest in technology
- Experience with analytical and reporting software such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
