Plant Manager

Overview:

• The General Manager is responsible for the overall management of the assigned entity for the production of the product range in scope in order to achieve outstanding results in the dimensions of safety, quality, delivery and costs and in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• The incumbent is also responsible for the achievement of budget and company/site specific short and mid-term objectives to attain company policy and global operations strategies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assumes overall responsibility for the assigned locations.
• Runs the assigned locations as profit-centers.
• Acts according to external and internal Company policies and guidelines and ensures employees are trained according to external and internal policies and guidelines.
• Ensures that the company acts according to security, safety at work (zero accidents), quality and environmental policy of company or external guidelines.
• Promotes, develops and keeps the company values and culture.
• Ensures synergetic collaboration and proper communication with all interfaces (SCM,R&D, PM, F&C, Sales etc.)
• Defines the overall objectives with clear KPI's and the business plan of the assigned locations in accordance with Business Unit / Division strategy.
• Develops and implements strategic initiatives in its own organization, aligned with Division Strategy
• Ensures capacity, investments and cost planning.
• Promotes and ensures the development of the company in a technical and logistical view according to the latest trends and benchmarks in the industry such as industry 4.0, automation and digitalization.
• Leads the continuous improvement process of management systems (lean),innovation, quality and environment.
• Ensures the complete and flawless delivery of the products on time and quality.
• Directs and coordinates daily operations of the manufacturing plant business.
• Sets-up budget and optimizes a production and capacity plan.
• Ensures world-class manufacturing performance through the implementation of a continuous improvement mindset & systematic performance management.
• Ensures sustainable development of productivity and innovation (product & technology)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
