CNC Operator
Job Posting for CNC Operator at SnapTight Products
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate foam parts according to specifications.
Duties:
- Set up and operate ourCNC machine.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Program machines using CAD/CAM software
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
- Use hand tools to deburr and finish parts
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
-Be able to lift and move large blocks of foam onto C-N-C machine
-Willing to learn and follow directions
-Must have leadership skills to work with a crew to meet deadlines.
Experience:
- Previous experience operating CNC machines is required
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
