Pay: Starting at $19.33/hr., with wage rate progressions at 31 actually worked days, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months of employment.
Duration/Usual Hours Per Week: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week Minimum
Shift/Work Days: First Shift Only. Monday-Friday. 6:30AM to 3:00 PM
Overtime: Voluntary; for all hours worked in excess of eight(8) in any workday; for hours worked in excess of forty (40) in a workweek; or for Saturday work (typically 5 hour shifts if offered).

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform in-line or bench assembly operations primarily concerned with the installing, positioning and fastening of component parts to a variety of electrical transformers in process in accordance with established methods and procedures. Work involves limited fitting and adjusting of terminations and/or leads to make connections in accordance with quality requirements.
- Receive direction from Supervisor and instruction relative to work assignment from Supervisor or lead person. Work from established job specifications, standard operating procedures, prescribed practices, written and verbal instructions.
- Use hoist, low lift hand truck, skids, containers and carts to move or position transformers or materials, as required. Use tools such as continuity meter, nut driver, power screwdriver, nutsetter, and crimper. Operate drill press. Use rotary wire brush, solder iron, solder pot, pliers, spinites, hammer, wrenches and other applicable bench assembly equipment and hand tools to perform prescribed sequence of operations.
- Perform operations such as installing and final positioning and/or fastening C-cores, covers, terminals, terminal boards, screws, nuts, rivets, various hardware items, and insulation materials. Cut leads to length. Strip, solder, crimp and tape leads. Mount brackets and applicable component parts. Solder and buff cans. Perform all operations in accordance with electrical or mechanical requirements as prescribed. Clean impregnating materials from mounting surfaces, terminals, leads or other portions of transformers, as assigned.
- Perform other related duties in accordance with production work load requirements, as assigned. Detect faulty operation or equipment, discrepancies in material, specifications or other unusual conditions and report to Supervisor. Maintain work place in neat and orderly condition. Make out time and production reports. Observe all prescribed safety regulations.
Experience/Qualifications: Over 6 months up to and including 9 months of experience desired. Requires the use of simple writing and arithmetic, in decimals and fractions, and the use of specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams and adjustable measuring instruments. Familiar with in-line bench assembly operations. Perform bench assembly operations to install, position, fit, adjust and fasten terminations and leads to make connections in accordance with established methods, and quality requirements. Some judgment is required to comply with instructions and established procedures. Moderate physical effort required to perform assigned work. Continuous mental and visual attention required to perform assigned work that is highly repetitive.
