Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Export Logistics Specialist:
- A-Z management of inbound FCL, LCL and airfreight consignments
- Manage high volumes of communication (generally email) between agents, transporters and customers (plus third-party Customers brokers where we are not the appointed broker).
- Provide quotes on imports to customers.
- Liaise with 3rd parties along the Heneways logistics chain to ensure smooth movement of imports (Overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, airport handling agents, Port authorities, consolidators, NVOCCs, Customs brokers, truckers)
- Managing, tracking, and tracing shipments from origin to destination whilst communicating at highest service standard to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Working together with and supporting colleagues with aim of ensuring strong teamwork, company pride and dedication to the services offered.
Job Requirements
- 3 years Ocean Export Experience a MUST
- Experience with Cargowise a plus!
- 2 years of Customer Service Experience in an office setting
- Postivie upbeat attitude - corporate environment
- Intermediate Word/Excel skills
- Stable work history
- Acute attention to detail
