How you will contribute as a Compact Parts Specialist:
- Manage inventory comprehensively, including tasks such as kitting, cycle counting, auditing, and handling surplus materials.
- Record incoming material meticulously in the parts database and handle internal customer requests with professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve receiving discrepancies and address critical shortages of parts.
- Conduct inspections on incoming materials to identify any physical damage, ensuring proper recycling and waste disposal.
- Organize material in their designated areas and transport items to production labs as required.
- Take proactive measures to accurately and completely assemble kits in accordance with production schedules.
Skills & qualifications we're looking for in a Compact Parts Specialist:
- Proficiency in problem-solving, particularly related to material flow processes.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and the tools associated with it.
- Keen attention to detail and adeptness at prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to work autonomously.
- Basic arithmetic skills, capable of data recording, writing, and reading comprehension.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 45 lbs and perform efficiently in a dynamic work environment.
