Directly supervises group leaders, team leaders and team members. Carries out management responsibilities
in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited
to managing receiving, yard management operation and the training and coaching of employees. Plan, assign
and direct work; Address complaints and resolve problems. Required to work productions weekends and
shutdowns.

- Monitors quality and productivity of warehouse/transportation operation.
- Ensure all departmental policies/procedures are followed.
- Develops continues improvement programs and using principles of Kaizen.
- Ensure team compliance with company, client, and government policies.
- Continue to enhance knowledge of job-related operations.
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively with vendors and other departments.
- Must monitor equipment and initiate proper maintenance.
- Develop tools to facilitate operations as necessary.
- Establish and modify procedures and workflows.
- Manpower, attendance, and absenteeism management.
- Actively engaged in positive employee relations.
- Position requires responsibility to support both night shift operations as needed
- Candidate must have 5 plus years of manufacturing experience.
- Candidate must have 5 plus years of management experience.
- Must have excellent computer and software skills such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Power
Point - Must have good attendance.
- Must be dependable and dedicated to your job position.
- Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, operational procedures, and work instructions.
- Must have excellent team building and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to managers, clients, customers, and employees
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Must possess good communication skills as well as organizational/problem solving skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex situations
