Position : Temporary HR / Payroll Specialist
Duration : Through December (with potential for extension)
We're urgently seeking askilled HR / Payroll Specialist to immediately join our clients team in David, FL. This temporary opportunity will support payroll processing, HR compliance, and benefits administration through the busy holiday season.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process payroll for 100 employees, ensuring accuracy in payments, deductions, and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with certified payroll requirements and federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage 401(k) contributions and reporting.
- Administer employee insurance benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintain organized payroll and employee records using payroll software (Paycom experience preferred).
- Address payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries efficiently.
Qualifications :
- Experience processing payroll and managing HR functions for 100 employees, preferably in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with Paycom or Velocity payroll software.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is highly advantageous.
- Reliable transportation.
