Help Desk Specialist – Mountain Creek
Location: Vernon, NJ Reporting to: IT Manager

About Mountain Creek:
Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants, and lodge.
How the Help Desk Specialist works with the Team:
The Help Desk Specialist provides first level help desk support to internal team members. In addition, will be responsible for maintaining help desk correspondence, diagnosing and resolving help desk related issues. The Specialist will provide first level support to include password resets, office applications, hardware peripherals, etc. Some weekends and holidays will be required. This position will involve time in our Montville location and Big Snow at American Dream.
Team Member Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day hardware maintenance relating to resort operations.
- Monitor Help Desk tickets, update, escalate and respond accordingly.
- Daily resort walkthroughs to maintain, observe and report hardware/operation issues.
- Seasonal hardware breakdowns and setups.
- Basic computer, Windows, Office 365, phone, troubleshooting.
- Network experience is a plus Wi-Fi. TCP/IP , DNS , Active Directory, Cat5/6 etc.
- Must be proficient in Apple/Mac OS , IOS , IPad.
- Google suite, Chrome, Gmail, drive is a must.
- Dependable transportation is mandatory; some travel will be required.
- Will be required to work some nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexible shift coverage as well.
- Must have your own tools, some may be provided. Drill, punch down, Testers etc.
- Outdoor / Alpine extreme environment working conditions. Candidate MUST be able to get around in/on the snow / mountain.
- Use of a Chairlift / All Terrain vehicles , Climb ladders , Bucket trucks etc.
Team Member Qualifications:

- Certifications A /Sec and/or related experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- IT Certifications-Network, Microsoft, Cisco , Security etc.
- Hospitality resort experience is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environment and quickly identify problems and recommended solutions
- Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
- Available to work on weekends and holidays
- Provide friendly customer service at all times
- Excellent communication skills
