What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable position at SNOHOMISH CO OP INC?
SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable is responsible for customer service regarding memberships and in-house charge accounts. The AR will report directly to the Financial Controller, and work closely with the Store Manager. This is a very customer-facing job, as AR will interact with customers, members, and staff on a regular, daily basis. AR must posses high caliber communication skills and professionalism at all times.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Reconcile cash/check deposits from both locations daily, using the balancing spreadsheet
- Monitor the Loomis pick ups/change orders and ensure log books are accurate
- Run monthly statements for in-house charge accounts (1st of the Month)
- Collect on late accounts & monitor payment status (Weekly, 15th-19th specifically)
- Request credit & reference checks for new charge accounts
- Input new memberships & update member information as necessary
- Send renewal notifications for yearly membership fees (1st of the Month)
- Keep reseller permits & tax exemption forms updated & filed
- Run the customer transfer file for Agvantage (Monthly) & update Agvantage information as necessary
- Reconcile vouchers as they are redeemed in store
- Monitor fuel cards in Triple E
- Monitor & update membership discounts in Epicor & Triple E and ensure discounts are reflected accurately
- Always maintain a high standard of customer service
- Answer AR phone and monitor AR voicemails/emails
- Will be trained on cash register & filling propane
- Any and all other tasks as assigned by manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable transportation to work
