Event Coordinator

Seeking a dynamic and organized Events Coordinator to join our team at Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all events hosted at our restaurant, ranging from intimate gatherings to full buy-outs. This role requires a creative individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, and assist in designing customized event packages. Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue setup and menu arrangement.

• Event Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand and anticipate their event needs and preferences, and assist in designing customized event packages. Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue setup and menu arrangement.
• Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
• Event Execution: Works directly with GM and Executive Chef to oversee event setup, including arranging furniture and AV equipment. Manage event timelines to ensure smooth transitions between activities and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during events.
• Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable experience during events. Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive assistance as necessary.
• Marketing and Promotion: Assist in research for marketing and promoting to attract attendees and maximize guest covers.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and attendees. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance future events.

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in event planning, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
• Proficiency in Canvas, Microsoft Office suite and event management software, TripleSeat, is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29,000.00 per year
