Physical Therapy Front Office Specialist
Job Posting for Physical Therapy Front Office Specialist at Snowden Orthopedic & Occupational Rehabilitation
Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic is seeking an experienced enthusiastic individual to take on the responsibility as a full-time Physical Therapy Front Office Specialist. The successful candidate will assist the PT's with patient care. You will be required to travel between two locations.
Requirements: Our front office specialist is responsible but not limited to: greeting patients, checking them in/out, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining authorizations and referrals, managing patient information and patient communication and scheduling patients.
You MUST:
Be computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite/ability to learn unique computer programs)
Have the ability to analyze client records (electronic and paper) for completeness and accuracy, paying attention to detail.
Have the ability to multi-task effectively, dealing with phone calls, current clients, potential clients and other staff simultaneously.
Have the ability to verify insurance benefits and pre authorizations.
Answer multi-line phone and route calls to appropriate personnel or take detailed messages.

Cleaning the general area after the patient is released including laundry and other duties assigned by the Physical Therapist.
