CNC Machine Operator

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate metal parts according to precise specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in machining and programming who is looking to contribute their skills to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Duties:

- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and threading

- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications, instructions, and tooling requirements

- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the production process to ensure accuracy and quality of the finished product

- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions of machined parts

- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality and meet production deadlines

- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts

-Inspect, packageg and help ship finished parts to various coating processes.

- Inspect and assemble finished parts after machining and coating.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production efficiency

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting

- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and programming using CAD/CAM software

- Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials

- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their proper use

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

- Experience with press brake machines and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus

- Ability to fabricate and weld metal parts is highly desirable

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

• CNC Operating: 2 years (Preferred)
