Seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of accounting operations including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Coordinate the annual audit process.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
-month-end closing duties, reconciling account balances, maintaining general ledger, recording payroll transactions, cash management, and review of AP payments.
-experience in bonded construction work is a must.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial report writing and general ledger reconciliation.
- Solid understanding of financial analysis principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
