Soaren Management is adding a Vendor Analyst to our team in Scottsdale, AZ. We are a Fintech start-up that is stable, profitable, and rapidly growing. We are looking for a Vendor Analyst to assist our company in making sound purchasing decisions specifically in our lead buying platform. Responsibilities include acquiring, analyzing, managing, and monitoring our lead provider vendors to ensure compliance with company policies. You should also be able to obtain new vendors, maintain relationships with vendors, and cancel vendor contracts should company vendors fail to perform adequately.

To be successful as a Vendor Analyst, you should be detail-oriented and adept at negotiating vendor contracts. You should have the ability to pull SQL quires and preform analysis of multiple lead vendors to ensure they are preforming. Ultimately, an outstanding vendor manager should be able to multitask effectively as well as demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved lead vendors.
  • Meeting with suitable lead vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
  • Managing and creating KPI metrics
  • Optimizing KPI metrics to hold vendors accountable
  • Analyzing data to make decisions surrounding lead vendors
  • Preform SQL queries to pull data to analyze to ensure vendors are meeting company goals
  • Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality
  • Continually monitoring KPI trends to determine which leads produce the highest results
  • Implementing vendor selection programs to ensure that the best vendors are secured
  • Conducting interviews with new vendors and informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations
  • Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors
  • Evaluating current lead buying programs and identifying ways to improve them

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Analyzing & creating KPI metrics
  • Experience working with Excel
  • Experience working with SQL
  • Ability to work with multiple vendors
  • Strong negotiation, management, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
