Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Leader to join our team. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a group of students, providing educational support, behavior management, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
Duties:
- Lead and supervise a group of students, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Assist with tutoring and homework help as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom or group setting
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
- Knowledge of counseling principles is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
