Position Overview:
The Restaurant Director of Operations plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competition to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage restaurant budgets, including expenses, revenues, and profitability.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize financial performance while maintaining quality standards.
- Review financial reports, analyze variances, and make data-driven decisions to drive profitability.
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food quality standards, and sanitation guidelines.
- Implement efficient workflow processes and systems to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to restaurant managers and staff, fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in restaurant management, with a track record of success in a leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, P&L statements, and financial reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen management, and customer relations.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
