Social Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Loan Processor to support our growing mortgage operations. As a Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and processing loan applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected, and facilitating a smooth closing process for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and verify loan application documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements

2. Order and review credit reports, title reports, appraisals, and other necessary documentation

3. Calculate income, assets, and debts to determine loan eligibility and affordability

4. Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to address any discrepancies or missing information

5. Prepare and maintain loan files, ensuring all required documentation is present

6. Submit loan files to underwriting for approval and coordinate with closing departments to ensure timely loan closings

7. Keep clients, loan officers, and realtors informed of loan status and any additional requirements

8. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and company policies

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing or a related role

2. Strong understanding of mortgage products, guidelines, and regulations

3. Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills

4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and mortgage-related software

6. Excellent communication and client service skills

7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
