The Human Olfaction Lab, (), investigates the functional, anatomical and organizational principles of the human olfactory system. We use intracranial EEG, functional neuroimaging and novel recording techniques developed within our lab to achieve these goals. Additionally, we explore how breathing rhythms impact neural oscillations in olfactory areas and across the entire brain.
We are searching for a Senior Research Scientist or postdoc to join our team to lead exciting new studies to uncover the fundamental properties of olfaction. This research will involve working with human participants in both clinical and nonclinical environments. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in electrophysiology/intracranialEEG and computational analysis techniques. The candidate may play a role in shaping experimental designs, setting up and maintaining equipment, mentoring trainees, and helping write manuscripts.
