SOCOTEC Engineering is currently seeking a QA/QC Administrator for our Materials and Testing Group based at our laboratory facility in Brooklyn, New York. In this position, you will work with both groups to ensure projects meet the company Quality Assurance Program. Execution of purchase orders and filing of records consistent with our QAM as well as maintenance of project records. As a valued team member you will create and ensure a culture of quality within SOCOTEC Engineering.

Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Documentation Management; including project filing and purchase orders.
- Manage calibration schedule for lab equipment
- Inventory and management of test and measuring equipment for current calibration and maintenance of associated records.
- Audit preparation.
- Manage shipping and receiving.
- Onboarding and training of new employees to the Quality Manual.
- Light office duties.
The following qualifications and skills are required for this position:
- High school diploma and 2 years minimum work in a similar role.
- Bachelors degree in business, engineering or related field is preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with 29CFR document control is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Deltek software is desired.
- Microsoft office, ability to use Excel is required.
