The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Content Evangelist to amplify Socure’s message and content artifacts into third-party channels to increase brand and product awareness, and to drive demand generation. In this role, you will own the process of taking Socure owned and earned content and distributing it to publications, websites, user groups, discussion forums, social media channels, and other avenues that help increase the reach of our brand and message. You will do this primarily through organic means, but will also work on paid content opportunities as well. The ideal candidate will be skilled at building relationships, repurposing content, aligning business goals with content marketing priorities, and analyzing performance and making decisions that maximize effort. 

You will report directly to Patrick Flanders, Sr. Director & Head of Content Marketing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the head of content marketing and wider marketing team to build and execute a content amplification strategy for both existing and planned content. 
  • Manage a curated list of third-party websites, publications, discussion forums, social media, influencers, and other channels. Develop relationships with channel owners and be an expert and submitting Socure content.
  • Identify opportunities for Socure’s content team to develop assets for certain publications or for specific themes and topics.
  • Repurpose existing content to meet requirements for new opportunities. 
  • Strategize a content distribution plan for different personas, various pipeline stages, and for based on product specifics.  
  • Partner regularly with SMEs across various departments (Product, Sales, Marketing, Data Science, Growth) to identify technical and business channels optimized to drive awareness of Socure’s solutions.
  • Track, analyze, and report on content amplification efficacy and conversion.
  • Identify and execute on new channels where Socure should have more of a thought leadership presence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • First and foremost, you understand how to tell a story through content. You’re able to identify where Socure’s desired audiences spend time, and can craft and execute strategies to propagate content effectively in those channels.  
  • 3 years of relevant work experience (research, brand marketing, content marketing, digital marketing), in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Self-starter mentality: ability to self-educate, build a strategy, communicate that strategy to get stakeholder buy-in, and execute.
  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent relationship skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Experience analyzing and leveraging data and metrics to measure audience impact.
  • Capable of creating technical content for a variety of different mediums (blogs, videos, etc).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Nice to have: Experience with content creation for data science and machine learning-driven platforms.
  • Nice to have: Domain expertise in fraud, identity, payments, etc.
