Are you an experienced Airport Manager looking to move into a FIFO lifestyle?
If you’re looking to be part of a friendly, close-knit, customer-centric team, we have a Aerodrome Manager opportunity, working a Fly-In-Fly-Out roster, 2 weeks on 1 week off.
The Aerodrome Manager supervisors and coordinates the team responsible for the arrival and departure of site planes to and from Perth.
Reporting to the Project Manager you will play a vital role in the successful running of the site Airport, you will be a skilled communicator with proven people management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. You will have the ability to build and support teams and be a safety leader with an understanding of HSE and CASA Regulations / legislation.
Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
- Opening Airport
- Complete the runway inspection, which includes: temperature, wind direction, cloud height and Send to National Jet
- Wait for communication from the pilot and whilst waiting commence baggage loading onto trolley’s
- Send conditions report back to pilot
- Prepare the apron for arrival of aircraft including the placement of stairs
- Marshalling will then take effect, communicate with pilot for placement of baggage and fuel load
- Passenger Ticketing
- Baggage Handling
- Refueling
- Aircraft Dispatch
- Adhere to CASA Regulations at all times
- Adhere to all regulatory, company and client-driven safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Police Clearance
- ARO Certification
- Safety awareness and hazard consciousness
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Display initiative and ownership of the role
- Ability to suggest and implement preventative strategies
- Diligent with an excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and organize a diverse workload
- Flexibility and ability to change and adapt priorities
- ARO Certification
- Baggage handling competency
- Ramp handling competency
- Sound knowledge of MSDS sheets and safe use of chemicals
