Unit Description
The IS&T Vendor Manager is responsible for managing the regional Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program: supplier performance management, supplier development and continuous improvement. Will be in charge of relationship quality with one or more suppliers, the review of their performance and management of related risks.
New hire must understand contractual, commercial, and operational working relationships with the managed vendors to ensure that contractual and service commitments are delivered across IT. Role will interact with all types of IT suppliers providing products or services (consultant, software vendor, hardware provider, freelance resource, adviser, outsourced, third-party maintenance…) and will collaborate with the Global Vendor Management Office to implement and follow Vendor Management guidelines and processes at regional level.

About the position:
- Lead and execute the regional vendor performance management activities.
- Manage the regional supplier relationship management actions.
- Contribute to the regional and global sourcing strategy definitions.
- Track and coordinate the regional sourcing strategy execution.
Role Specific Competencies include:
- Sourcing Strategy Definition
- Can participate in the strategy for selecting and consolidating suppliers,
- Works with the IT Buyer and Category Manager to define and adjust the IS&T outsourcing policy, ensures its application and the effectiveness of its implementation,
- Participates in the contract negotiation strategy
- Sourcing Strategy Execution
- Tracks and benchmarks suppliers on criteria of growth, quality, volume, competitive advantage, price, risk by specifying and implementing tools and methodologies.
- Makes Vendor management reporting in partnership with the purchasing team, contract managers and operational principals by specifying and implementing tools and methodologies.
- Analyzes uses and anticipates business units’ requirements to optimize future procurement and predict future discussions with suppliers
- Coordinates interfaces between supplier management and other processes (e.g., Demand Management)
- Vendor Performance Management
- Gathers and monitors information related to performance,
- Evaluates on an ongoing basis the supplier performance regarding compliance with cost objectives, on-time delivery, quality requirements, accurate reporting, user satisfaction and any other SLAs or KPIs laid out in the terms and agreements,
- Produces performance reports,
- Shares and broadcast performance reports to all relevant stakeholders (supplier, IS&T sponsors, Global Vendor Management Office, IS&T solution owners, IT buyer, contract manager…)
- Coordinates meetings with the supplier to discuss and engage on improvement actions if required,
- Track’s improvement action plan
- Act as Escalation point of contact in case of deviations from suppliers
- Support operational teams on SOW creation, review, and negotiation with strategic suppliers
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Classifies the suppliers and prioritize the relationships,
- Organizes regular meetings with strategic suppliers,
- Establishes a development plan for the strategic suppliers,
- Helps to on-board suppliers and provides relevant Sodexo’s documentation,
- Establishes the right contacts and interactions with the suppliers,
- Prevents and handles conflicts with suppliers,
- Identifies and mitigates risks related to suppliers
- Global Coordination
- Work and collaborate with the Global VMO to steer and monitor supplier performance and to implement the Vendor Management processes and procedures
- Share with the Global VMO on a regular basis the strategic supplier performance in the region.

Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years IT exposure- specifically with IT acquisitions and asset management. Must have service/product contract management exposure coupled with performance management of outsourced resources. Strong exposure with SOW creation and management.

Budgeted Salary Range: $75,000-95,000
