Registered Dietitian

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian for Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA. This is a 140-bed facility and is part of the Steward Healthcare System. This position will provide both inpatient and outpatient nutritional care to a variety of patients.

This is a full-time temporary position lasting 6 months, but has a strong potential to become a permanent role afterwards.

• Provide nutritional care to patients on a variety of inpatient units;
• Provide outpatient nutritional counseling to clients;
• Be responsible for performing nutrition screening, assessments, education and documentation utilizing Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) guidelines;
• Utilize EMR documentation according to current standards, uphold regulatory standards, and evidence-based medicine, implement care plans and counsel patients and family members as needed;
• Be flexible, reliable, knowledgeable of clinical nutrition;
• Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, attend unit and clinical program meetings, committees and relevant activities;
• Always project an image of professionalism.

• Are Registered Dietitians with licensure in MA (required);
• Maintains excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups;
• Brings strong time management and organizational skills.
