The role
The Creative Studio at SoFi is looking for a talented interactive designer to join our in-house agency and deliver exceptional digital experiences for our rapidly growing brand.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with other designers, copywriters, developers, and marketers to help design SoFi’s website and other digital channels. You’ll take our brand guidelines and design systems and apply them to business objectives, speaking directly to our prospects and members to help them understand our product offerings and benefits. We’re looking for someone who is driven, passionate, and forward-thinking to join our team—and excited to come to work every day to help people get their money right.
What you’ll do:
Own end-to-end concept, design, and production for mid-tier marketing projects across SoFi.com, SoFi’s digital channels, and other digital marketing initiatives.
Create consumer-facing work that is visually exciting, forward-thinking, and emotionally engaging.
Help us test, iterate, and optimize designs across our site, working with our marketing, web, and development teams to consistently deliver and improve business results.
Evolve and expand our visual language and capabilities by developing new and effective layouts and components, plus user interface elements and icons.
Work collaboratively with fellow members of the creative, web, and development teams as well as cross-functional stakeholders.
Champion the SoFi brand and user experience, and help shape SoFi’s brand narrative
What you’ll need:
3-5 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in visual design, user experience, and/or interaction design.
Ability to ideate, wireframe, and prototype for the web.
Strong responsive design skills, thinking mobile-first.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while supporting the larger team.
Comfortable collaborating with fellow designers and writers.
Ability to balance multiple projects with tight timelines while producing high-quality work.
Proficient in design software and tools including Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
A portfolio full of beautiful, yet functional work that demonstrates the ability to deliver business results.
Nice to have:
A good grasp of HTML, CSS, and other technical knowledge.
Experience in creating beautiful, effective marketing pages and collateral.
Awesome written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Experience working within design systems and/or Abstract
