What are the responsibilities and job description for the EEO Compliance Analyst position at Soft Inc.?
Located in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a Compliance Analyst for a long term contract assignment. The Compliance Analyst is an integral part of a team using data analytics and project management skills to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Support the company’s compliance posture, working together with Recruitment Operations Manager, Data Steward Analyst, and the legal team to communicate the requirements associated with all applicable HR-related EEO/AA legal/regulatory compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Support on inquiries from external government compliance and enforcement agencies including but not limited to the US DOL OFCCP, EEOC, as well as state and local agencies for compliance reviews, regulatory reporting requirements and on-site investigations.
- Preparing annual affirmative action programs and ensuring indicators are investigated and explainable or corrective actions are recommended/taken where indicated. Briefs AAP results to executive Sector leadership and stakeholders and provides guidance on affirmative action and compliance topics within the Sector as SME.
- Compiles and submits reports to comply with various federal compliance requirements as well as other state and local requirements including but not limited to those related to EEO, VETS 4212, and AAP.
- Ensures that the US labor law posters are updated as necessary and as required.
- Identify compliance issues that require further follow-up or investigation.
- Support on EEO & AAP/desk audit submission and audit response review.
- Assigned projects related to Recruitment and/or compliance. Where a high level of organizational skills and compliance knowledge is required. On these projects, leads the team or is a significant contributor to the overall success of the project.
- Day-to-day support on Recruitment reporting .
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline. 5 years of equivalent experience accepted as offset.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Exempt-level experience related to equality, HR, EEO/AA/OFCCP compliance matters, employment, and/or labor law preferred.
- OFCCP compliance reviews and working with external compliance officers on compliance reviews preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing, comprehending, and briefing complex data to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience successfully supporting multiple high level concurrent tasks and elevate issues for resolution when necessary.
- Ability to respond in a timely manner to high-visibility critical external audit matters and sensitive employee issues.
- Proven ability to participate on cross-functional projects and work directly with key stakeholders, as well as external consultants.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
