About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with a strong focus on backend development to join our dynamic W3LL Technology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining robust microservices and APIs that power our innovative W3LL products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the backend systems are scalable, secure, and seamlessly integrated with our front-end applications.
As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Your role will involve developing high-quality code, implementing best practices in software design, and actively participating in testing and deployment processes.

You will:
- Develop and maintain microservices and APIs for the W3LL products.
- Ensure robustness, scalability, and security of backend systems.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers and other team members to integrate APIs and microservices.
- Work closely with the product team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement and adhere to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and frameworks to continually improve product quality
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related degree or relevant experience
- 1-3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
- Demonstrated experience with microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design
- Hands-on object-oriented language development using C#, Java and/or .NET Framework/.NET Core
- Knowledgeable in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Skilled in API design and development, particularly RESTful APIs.
- Experience and understanding in software testing and debugging, including automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Experience with version control solutions such as Git
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Ability to work effectively in an agile environment
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in backend technologies, software architecture, or cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Additional Technical Skills:
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated deployment.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Portfolio and Contributions:
- A strong portfolio of relevant backend development projects.
- Contributions to open-source projects are highly regarded.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in industries related to the company’s focus (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.
What we offer:
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000/yr
