Job Posting for Medical Assistant/Medical Assistant at Softpath System LLC
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Description:
Chronic Disease Clinic MA
Days - 40 hours per week. Mon to Fri 8am-4:30pm. Float required.
BLS preferred.
1yr experience required.
Unit does not accept 1st time travelers.
May need to occasionally float to clinics on the Sinai Hospital campus at 2435 W. Belvedere Ave, Baltimore, MD 21215
Department Details and Patient Diagnoses: This is for a multi specialty ambulatory clinic site at NWH. Main specialty is heart failure clinic. Patients with chronic heart disease are seen here. Work includes phlebotomy, EKG placement, insulin pumps, vitals, patient checking in and checking out, making appointments, answering calls etc. There will be opportunity for on-site training. There maybe a need to travel to Sinai hospital for coverage
Work Setting Experience: Ambulatory Clinic
General Skills Experience: Obtaining Vital Signs, Obtain Health History, IM Injections, Venipuncture, Telephone Triage, 12 Lead EKG, Administer Medications
