POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
You would be hired as a permanent Sogeti Consultant. An expert in field who will provide guidance and experience a variety of exciting projects, work within different workplaces with diverse teams and various industries.

Possess a Bachelors and/or Masters Degree from an accredited institution.

JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team player with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and abilities with:
- 4 years of experience in a Data Engineer role, with a Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
- SQL
- Azure Databricks
- PySpark
- SparkSQL
- Azure/ADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS))
- Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
- Great numerical and analytical skills
- Data engineering certifications/Azure is a plus.
- Creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture.
- Analyzing and organizing raw data.
- Writing pseudo code.
- Combining raw information from different sources.
- Exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
- Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues.
- Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
