SOHO is seeking a proven leader who will manage operations with an emphasis on labor costs, utilization of personnel, quality assurance/quality control, and ensure company safety measures are followed. This role will be responsible for managing and leading a team of personnel, upholding SOHO core values, and day to day operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:
- Communicate culture, morale, and expectations with all direct reports, including frequent conversations with all
- Set the SOHO standard in regards to attendance, attitude, and productivity
- Serve as primary lead for all event execution
- Develop and implement daily procedures
- Coordinate weekly production meetings and properly schedule hourly staff members and outline operational needs
- Manage hourly staff members work time
- Establish and maintain daily communication channels with department managers and supervisors, addressing challenges and action items. Ensure all stakeholders are informed about project status and changes.
- Responsible for staff training and development
- Responsible for operations labor budget and expense control
- Serve as lead installer onsite for installation and breakdown of all events. Equipment may include but is not limited to tents, tables, chairs, stage, dancefloor, etc. Unless otherwise approved by the General Manager.
- While on jobsites the operations manager is responsible for following:
- Managing the team and jobsite
- Make contact with the client upon arrival at the event site
- Address any questions or concerns the client may have
- Problem solve for the client to ensure complete satisfaction
- Problem solve for staff to maintain production schedule
- Prioritize the steps of the installation for maximum efficiency
- Act as the point of contact for the sales and delivery teams, resolving discrepancies between delivered items and orders.
- Responsible for signing off on each delivery and pickup that all items were installed and picked up
- Oversee quality control, inventory availability and maintenance, process management, and equipment transfers
- Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient project execution.
- Oversee and coordinate project timelines, ensuring milestones are met within budget and deadlines.
- Ensure all employees adhere to company and OSHA safety policies and responsible for reporting any accidents associated with job or personnel
- Serve as the go-to resource. Respond to emergency calls, coordinate mechanical service repairs as needed.
- This position will be the emergency point of contact for all clients.
- Ensure vehicles are properly equipped to perform specific jobs including loading, unloading and periodic maintenance inspections.Create and maintain regular maintenance schedule for all equipment.
- Periodic inventory counts for equipment accuracy
- Maintain a well-organized, clean and productive warehouse setting
- Organize warehouse safety programs and ensure that all corporate safety protocols are executed

- Must be able to drive non-CDL trucks (training provided)
- Be available for weekends, after-hours duties, and regional travel

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,916.00 - $54,150.00 per year
