Job Description
The Plant Supervisor position will support Sojo by managing the employees, equipment and the processes within the site, to ensure safety, efficiency and to ensure Sojo’s goals are met or exceeded.

Sojo has also developed its own proprietary blockchain-based track and trace software platform, Sojo Shield; which utilizes sophisticated data capture and geo-location technologies to enable customers to comply with federally mandated food safety requirements.
Sojo manages a national footprint of bricks and mortar facilities across the country in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California and Texas and maintains mobile manufacturing sites in Indiana, Colorado and Utah. The Plant Supervisor position will support Sojo by managing the employees, equipment and the processes within the site, to ensure safety, efficiency and to ensure Sojo’s goals are met or exceeded.
- The Plant Supervisor position will support Sojo by managing the employees, equipment and the processes within the site, to ensure safety, efficiency and to ensure Sojo’s goals are met or exceeded.
- Position Essential Functions Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed targeted Line throughput goals while performing with the highest safety and quality standards;
- Achieve or exceed Line utilization goals while ensuring proper equipment maintenance is performed;
- Oversee Line staffing, performance and safety;
- Oversee Line equipment performance
- Line equipment preventative and unplanned maintenance management;
- Support spare parts inventory control and maintenance;
- Maintenance and publication of a comprehensive Line Operations cost, speed, up-time and safety performance KPI dashboard;
- Support warehouse and yard operations, including inbound and outbound product processing, effective utilization of WMS, and efficient use of and maintenance of facilities and support equipment
- All other duties as directed by Plant Manager
- 5 years of plant operations experience required.
- 5 years of WMS & ERP experience; Netsuite preferred
- Knowledge and experience with safety regulations, ex: OSHA, MSHA
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) preferred
- Organizational and leadership skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
