Senior Accountant – Controller Path

Large solar company is searching for a Senior Accountant who could eventually be promoted to a Controller role.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Managing full accounting close and preparation of financial statements.
- Overseeing all AR and AP processes, general ledger and cash management reconciliations.
- Analyzing data from our CRM, payroll, and accounting systems to ensure complete and accurate accounting records.
- Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Assisting with managerial reporting and analysis, budget planning, and other projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 5 years of experience in an Accounting role, preferably managing a team.
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Experience with ERP implementation.
- Familiarity with Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
- Ability to work extensively with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Advanced Excel skills a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Merger and acquisition support.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
