The Functional Analyst plays a crucial role in our software development teams, providing a range of support services, including change management, requirements gathering, training material development, software testing support, access requests, and Tier 1 and 2 helpdesk support, including data updates. Additionally, as part of our team of 18-20 team members, we will provide cross-training in all areas of the team to improve job performance, knowledge transfer, staffing flexibility, and improved organizational resilience.

YOUR RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Evaluating software requirements for feasibility, potential conflicts, and ensuring that all requirements are aligned with the overall software development strategy.
- Generate user stories and tasks in JIRA based on gathered requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure that software systems meet the requirements and provide feedback to software development.
- Understanding and document the business processes that the software systems will support.
- Create and update application training materials as needed
- Use SQL scripts to modify and update data
- Process system access requests in ETA/TEAMS
- Provide Tier 1 & 2 helpdesk support
- Provide system training support when needed (may require travel)
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Associates Degree (or equivalent years of experience)
- 4 years’ experience in the field of a related area
- 1 year SQL experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Great customer service skills
- Organized and a Self-Starter
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills
- Must be able to work well within a team environment.
