Job Summary:
Pine State Beverage is currently looking for Driver Trainer to work out of our Gardiner Depot.
The Driver Trainer, in addition to expert-level delivery route driving, is responsible for the training and mentoring of new drivers. The Driver Trainer will educate trainees in both safe operation of commercial equipment as well as efficient completion of delivery duties. The Driver Trainer will actively teach safe CMV operation to driver trainees in the form of yard, road and classroom training. The Driver Trainer will also conduct ride-a-long safety and methods observations and coaching of both new and established drivers.

Skills and Physical Requirements:
- Class A CDL in good standing with safe driving record
- Excellent customer service-related skills are a must
- Basic mechanical skills and proficiency with all pre-trip checks and requirements
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed
- Regular and sustained periods of physical exertion requiring the ability to lift, carry and position objects using proper body mechanics
- Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions to include: weather, temperature, lighting and noise etc. while in the field
- Significant periods of seated driving time
