Job Description:
As a School Psychologist at a school district, your primary responsibility will be to conduct psychological evaluations for elementary and middle school students. The position will be for the 23/24 school year.

Duration: August 30, 2023 - June 17, 2024
Caseload: Approximately 75-80 evaluations annually for elementary and middle school students
Responsibilities of the School Psychologist may include, but are not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, socio-emotional development, and behavioral functioning.
Administering and interpreting standardized assessment measures, including cognitive and academic tests, to gather data on students' strengths and areas of need.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions for students.
Providing consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding students' social-emotional and behavioral needs.
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to review assessment results, determine eligibility for special education services, and develop appropriate educational plans.
Writing comprehensive evaluation reports and presenting findings and recommendations to parents, educators, and other stakeholders.
Staying updated on current research and best practices in the field of school psychology through professional development opportunities.
