Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Paraprofessional to join our team Wigwam, Colorado. This full-time position involves working closely with students in a K-12 setting, either 1 on 1 or in small groups, to provide essential support in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and managing classroom activities.
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they stay on track with their educational goals.
- Implement instructional and behavioral strategies as directed by teachers and specialists.
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers and staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting.
- Ability to work effectively with students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of instructional techniques and classroom management.
