Soliant Education is collaborating with a school district near Seymour, CT, to fill a critical role for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This full-time position involves supporting elementary students and requires candidates with an Associate degree or higher, or completion of the para exam.
Position Details:
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Work Hours: Full-time.
Education Requirement:
- Must have an Associate degree or higher, or completion of the para exam.
Student Level: Elementary.
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Behavior Technician, your primary duties include:
Behavioral Support:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Data Collection:
- Collect and record data on student behavior during sessions.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the special education team and other professionals.
Support Plans:
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized behavior support plans.
Qualifications:
- RBT Certification: Hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
