Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based team in Roosevelt, WA. The OT will provide therapy services to students, focusing on developing fine motor skills, improving sensory processing, and enhancing daily living skills to help them succeed in their educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' needs and create individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy to students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate occupational therapy goals into the classroom.
- Conduct assessments to identify and diagnose motor or sensory processing disorders.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing student goals.
- Provide support and resources for teachers and families to help students achieve success across various settings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Washington state OT license.
- Experience in school settings preferred.
- Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
