School Nurse - Float, General Office

Soliant has been asked to help fill a School Nursing need for a school in California, near Victorville. This position offers a rewarding experience to work with students in a school setting near Victorville, providing critical healthcare support. Qualifications:

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• G-Tube certification is required.
• Previous experience working as a School Nurse or in pediatric nursing is preferred.

Details:

• Monday through Friday
• Full time, in person
• K-12 heath office position, with some limited 1:1 care as a float nurse if needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students with complex medical needs in a school environment.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and individualized healthcare plans.
• Monitor students' health conditions, including G-Tube management, and respond to emergencies when necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective communication.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation, including medication administration logs and incident reports.
• Educate school staff on medical procedures and protocols related to students' conditions.
• Advocate for the students' healthcare needs and participate in the development of individualized healthcare plans (IHCPs).
