Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Friendswood, TX. The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students to support positive academic and behavioral outcomes within the school community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students to promote social-emotional well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and address learning challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and educational planning
- Support school-wide initiatives related to mental health, crisis intervention, and positive behavior support
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Texas state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
State Licensure Requirements:
Candidates must hold a valid School Psychologist license issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
