Soliant, a leading education staffing company, is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our team in the Bridgeview, IL area. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within the school district.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' learning, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized educational plans for students
- Provide counseling services and interventions to support students' mental health and well-being
- Assist in the implementation of behavioral management strategies and positive intervention programs
- Conduct research and gather data to support decision-making and program development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for student support services
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment techniques and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- First and last day of the school year: August 21 - May 31
- Daily start and end times:
- 7:50 am - 2:25 pm (3 days/week at the Junior High grades 6-8)
- 8:20 am - 2:50 pm (1 day/week at the intermediate school for 5th grade)
- One day is a flex day that can be used at either school
