Position : School Psychologist Type : Full-Time 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support to students to address behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges.
- Develop and deliver professional development sessions for staff on topics such as behavior management, social-emotional learning, and mental health awareness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs and policies.
Qualifications :
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and school staff.
