We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Special Education (SPED) Teacher with ASD experience for a Full-time position.
Responsibilities :
- Provide instruction for ASD Pupils.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Utilize common core and resource curriculum to address both academic and behavioral goals.
- Conduct 1 : 1 individualized sessions with students throughout the week.
- Coordinate with parents and teachers to schedule days, times, and meeting places at district schools.
- Travel between multiple schools as needed to meet with students.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and activities.
Educational and Licensing Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution.
- ValidSpecial Education teaching license.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in the field of Special Education, preferably in a resource setting. Benefits :
