Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating inclusive educational environments and providing tailored support to students with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects to meet the individualized goals outlined in students' IEPs.
- Utilize differentiated instruction techniques and specialized teaching strategies to address the unique learning styles and abilities of students.
- Assess students' progress regularly and modify instructional methods and materials as needed.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, school psychologists, speech therapists, and other professionals to support students' overall development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance, as required by school policies and regulations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid state certification or licensure in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting (classroom, resource room, or inclusive environment).
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent munication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.

Salary : $50,000 - $66,000
