Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ultrasound technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The assignment is 13 weeks long and offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and obstetric
- Use diagnostic ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide the best possible patient care
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- Active ARDMS certification required
- BLS certification required
- At least 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if necessary
