Committed to the 'Housing First' philosophy, Solid Ground moves people out of homelessness and into housing first, then provides person-centered, holistic support and services essential for long-term stability. We currently operate eight supportive housing programs throughout Ramsey and Washington Counties housing over 650 parents and children annually.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This position provides a range of clerical, accounting, and bookkeeping support functions to support the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- General accounts receivable functions
- General accounts payable functions
- Update, verify and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other financial records.
- Assist in month end reporting procedures.
- Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies.
- Assist with employee expense reports.
- Purchase supplies and maintain inventory of company-issued technology.
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
- Liaise with other departments and vendors.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in clerical accounting
- Associate degree in business or accounting preferred
- Solid computer literacy. MS Office and knowledge of accounting software
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
- Knowledge and compliance with relevant local, state, and federal financial regulations.
