About the Team

The business development team is pivotal to Solidatus’ business and growth. The team supports prospective and existing customers to maximise value gained from Solidatus deployments. A close working relationship exists with partners to support customers achieve their business outcomes. The Business Development group works collaboratively, supportive and enjoys a successful team ethos.

What you’ll be doing

  • Generate revenue growth through new business sales and upsell to existing customers
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to support customer reference programmes, expansion strategies and contract renewals
  • End-to-end management of complex sales cycles, both directly with customers and in collaboration with partners
  • Lead enterprise-level commercial and contractual negotiations
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through a combination of Marketing-generated, partner-generated and self-generated opportunities 
  • Identify prospective customers and work with the Marketing team to execute lead generation campaigns
  • Maintain accurate information within the Solidatus CRM system
  • Accurately forecast revenue and report on KPI’s aligned to business standards
  • Commitment to continuous personal development
  • Evangelise Solidatus through blogs, LinkedIn, personal networks, etc
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams where required to help with the overall growth and success of Solidatus


What you’ll need

Experience and qualifications

  • A strong individual contributor and team player, with proven experience of selling software to enterprise organisations
  • Proven ability to repeatedly generate and close new logo business
  • Proven track-record of over-achievement against sales targets
  • Able to demonstrate examples of successfully building and leveraging partner relationships, to broaden market reach and capture new opportunity
  • Broad general knowledge of the technology industry, ideally with a good understanding of the data market
  • Experience of stakeholder management, selling to all levels within an organisation, including C-level executives
  • Familiar with solution selling methodologies
